The Privacy Policy of NSTDA applies to NSTDA’s operations regardless of the access channel, whether through the use of applications, including other products or services of NSTDA (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Services"). For the purpose of considering appropriate circulation values and assessing nutrient cycling under the framework of food-related issues, as well as evaluating the circulation and environmental impact of construction materials under the housing-related framework. This also includes developing a lifestyle platform based on the circular economy concept to predict lifestyle impacts and find ways to improve and transition toward a circular economy lifestyle.

Error Handling Procedures

In the event that an error or defect occurs while a user is using the application, regardless of the cause of such error or defect, the user agrees to grant NSTDA full authority to correct the error or defect as accurately as possible without prior notice or consent from the user. Furthermore, the user agrees to consider all documents prepared by NSTDA as complete, accurate, and legally valid evidence.

NSTDA will be liable to the user only for direct damages resulting from the use of the application and not for damages caused by the user's gross negligence.

Rights to Request Deletion of Personal Data or Cancellation of Website and/or Application Usage

Data subjects have the right to request the deletion or destruction of their personal data and usage data generated by the user through the Information section of the website, when they consider it unnecessary to retain such data according to the relevant purposes in this policy, or if the collection, use, and/or disclosure is unlawful.

Data subjects may withdraw consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of their data, and data controllers will no longer have the legal authority to collect, use, or disclose such data.

This announcement of the National Metal and Materials Technology Center regarding the Privacy Notice, B.E. 2567 (hereinafter referred to as the “Announcement”), applies to the operations of NSTDA regardless of the access channel, whether through electronic services such as the Life Cycle Simulation Web Application, etc.
Receiving services at any NSTDA office or receiving services from NSTDA officers providing off-site services, including other products or services of NSTDA, which will inform you about how NSTDA collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your personal data. NSTDA recommends that you read and understand this Announcement before providing your personal data to NSTDA. If you have any concerns, questions, or want to inquire further about this Announcement or other related announcements and policies, please contact NSTDA through the contact channels listed at the end of this Announcement.
NSTDA processes the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data as follows:

Reservations of Rights NSTDA reserves the right to deny requests under Clause 5 in the following cases:

Where the law requires such action.

Where personal data has been anonymized or de-identified so that the owner of the personal data cannot be identified.

Where the requester does not have evidence to prove that they are the owner of the personal data or authorized to make such a request.

Retention Period of Personal Data NSTDA will retain personal data according to the following periods:

For periods prescribed by law concerning the retention of personal data, for example, the Computer Crime Act B.E. 2550 and the Revenue Code, etc.

In cases where the law does not specify a retention period, NSTDA will retain personal data only as necessary to fulfill the purposes specified for processing that personal data. The retention period will vary depending on the intended purpose of collecting and processing the data. After the retention period expires, NSTDA will delete, destroy, or anonymize the personal data so that it can no longer be used to identify the data subject. However, NSTDA may need to retain your personal data beyond the stated period if NSTDA has been notified or reasonably believes that there may be a violation of the terms of service, legal infringements, disputes, or necessary investigations and legal proceedings. In such cases, NSTDA will retain the data only as long as necessary until the process is complete or as required by applicable law.

NSTDA may send notifications or alerts to users’ devices, and users may enable or disable these notifications at any time via device settings or service settings. To protect the confidentiality and security of your personal data, NSTDA has established internal policies regulating access rights and the use of your personal data, and safeguarding particularly sensitive data such as national ID numbers. NSTDA also provides secure communication channels for such data, including encryption methods such as Fact2Fact and OTP.
